About Yvette
Hello, fellow traveller, and welcome!
I'm Yvette Dulo, a poet, Cambridge University graduate, and coaching psychologist who writes to connect. Somewhere between heartbreak and healing, between memory and hope, that's where you'll find me and my words.
I write to hold space for everything that's often too difficult to name. Grief, love, longing, the ache of memory, and the fragile hope of healing. My poetry doesn't try to sound clever or distant; it's about naming what's hard, sitting with it, and creating a space where others might feel less alone in their messiest moments.
This space grew from a simple belief: that vulnerability is strength, that your story matters, and that poetry should be part of everyday life. Not just something you read, but something you live with. Whether through books that sit on your shelf, words you carry in your heart, or cases that remind you daily of your worth, I believe we all deserve gentle reminders that we're beautifully imperfect and doing our best.
As both poet and psychologist, I'm passionate about creating things that honour the complicated parts of being human. The messy middle of growth. The brave work of becoming. The unapologetic choice to feel deeply in a world that often asks us to stay small.
I hope the words and pieces you find here feel a little bit like coming home. Because we all deserve a place where our stories are seen, honoured, and celebrated exactly as they are.
